Daniela began playing volleyball at the age of 10 as part of a houseleague program. When she saw how much her older sister loved playing for SMASH, she decided to tryout and made the 13U team. Daniela stayed with SMASH for her entire rep volleyball career and has both indoor and beach experience. Daniela also played volleyball all 4 years of high school and was team captain all 4 years and MVP for 2 years. Daniela’s biggest accomplishment was finishing 3rd in the province and 2nd in Canada in her 14U year.
Daniela is currently in her third year of university at McMaster where she is pursuing her undergraduate degree in Environment and Society, with the hopes of going to law school. This is her fourth year as an Assistant Coach, and she began coaching because she wanted to give back to the club that had given her so much. Daniela is eager to help the 18U Blaze athletes grow and hopes to continuing doing what she can to help them become the best athletes they can be.
