Kelsey Kovar

Kelsey played NCAA volleyball at Valdosta State University from 2012-2014 and at Humber College from 2014-2016, winning two OCAA championships and a CCAA bronze medal. She played her final year at Mohawk College in 2017.

Kelsey began coaching club at SMASH with Matt Schnarr in 2021/2022 and again in 2024/2025 with Jenny Pellegrino. She was also the Head Coach for Mohawk College from 2022-2024. Winning an OCAA bronze medal in her first season.

Kelsey loves volleyball, and it has been such a huge part of her life and she’s excited to share her passion and competitiveness with the SMASH athletes!!
