Hannah Zimmerman

ASSISTANT COACH - 14U COUNTER ATTACK

Hannah Zimmerman played Smash Raiders for 5 years and played varsity for Conestoga College during the 2021-2022 season. She loves how the skills she learned on the court are transferable to every day life. She’s passionate about assisting young girls in developing not only their volleyball skills but also helping them become confident, strong women.

Sara Nazari

ASSISTANT COACH - 16U ICE ASSISTANT COACH - 14U COUNTER ATTACK

Sara Nazari began her professional volleyball career at 16. For 7 years, she played as a libero on the national team in the under-18, under-23, and adult categories. 

A major milestone in her career was participating in the *Tokyo 2020 Women’s Qualifying Tournament*. Over the course of 9 years, she competed in the professional volleyball league, building her skills and experience throughout high-level university matches and tournaments. With a bachelor’s degree from the prestigious University of Tehran, Sara is also certified as a personal trainer, group fitness instructor, and physiotherapy assistant.

Currently residing in Waterdown, her next goal is to pursue the physiotherapy program at McMaster University and continue her volleyball career there. In addition to her playing career, she has gained valuable experience as an assistant coach, contributing to her overall expertise in the sport. 

Annie Williams

HEAD COACH - 14U COUNTER ATTACK

Annie is going into her third year with SRVC  as an OVA Development Coach. Her first year at SRVC she coached 13U athletes and will continue as coach for the upcoming season in the 14U program.

She has experience playing volleyball at Club, Varsity and as a member of her country’s women’s volleyball team in the Caribbean, competing at many international events. She played Varsity Volleyball on an athletic scholarship for Lock Haven University, USA and transferred in her sophomore year to The City University of NY -Queens College NCAA Division II.

She is a Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work, and she works and supports vulnerable individuals, children and families.

She has a love for the game and look forward to being instrumental in player’s development, exposure and successes both at the team and individual level.
