Her extensive work with athletes of all ages, and Honours Degree in Child Development and Child Psychology, brings a deep understanding of the mental and physical demands athletes can endure. With a focus on the whole athlete – technical, tactical, physical, emotional, and mental, Elaine strives to provide a well-balanced program, and positive environment for all athletes to train in.

Leah Siebenga

Assistant Coach 15U Attack

Leah grew up playing volleyball recreationally in school and local house leagues, and played at the club level with the Ancaster Lions from 13U to 17U. In high school, she had her first coaching experience as an assistant with the 13U team before playing for Redeemer University for two years.

Leah then started coaching with HDCH, assisting with the Junior Girls, Senior Girls, and Senior Boys teams over the past three years. While she loves to play volleyball and be the one on the court, the past few years have shown her that being on the sidelines as a coach is just as special and rewarding, in a different kind of light. Coaching young players to grow into the best athletes they can be is what she is passionate about, and she is looking forward to working with Elaine and the 15U Attack team this season!
