ASSISTANT COACH - 17U BOLT

Jenny-Lynn Pellegrino

Coach Jenny is in her 16th Season with the OVA,  She is a Fully Certified Advanced Development Coach and currently working on her Performance Coach certification.

Jenny will be assisting our 17U Girls Bolt team this season . She’s excited to join this group and see them further their growth. Jenny believes that it is important to pass down the knowledge she has received from Mentors to her fellow Coaches, especially to former athletes who are now coming back to the program to assist her and want to learn and continue to grow this game. For Jenny, it’s not just about what happens on the court that is important to her. She feels that a connection with the players both on and off the court is what really makes a team stand strong and united.

Jenny was the 2020 Sandy Silver Coach of the Year. She is currently in her 6th season as a Lead Assistant Coach with the OCAA, 1st Year with Mohawk this season and the past 5 were with the Niagara Women’s Volleyball Program.  Jenny has been with Team Ontario for 7 years. She worked with a group of 32 athletes and 5 coaches.  She led a group of 14 athletes to the Canada Cup where they won the Gold Medal in the White Division.  This was the first Gold medal for Team Ontario in quite some time.  She will be working with Team O Elite in December. In the past she has acted as an Apprentice Coach with the Brock University Varsity Women’s Program. She was the Head Coach for the Region 3 Girls Red team at the Ontario Summer Games in London in 2018. The group was ranked 5th going into the tournament and finished the Games with a Bronze Medal. In previous years, she had the opportunity to work at the 14U HPC Indoor/Beach Camp (2017), and was the Assistant Coach for the Ontario Summer Games Region 3 girls, Silver Medalists (2016).
