Annie Williams


Annie is going into her second year with SRVC  as an OVA Development Coach. Her first year at SRVC she coached 13U athletes and will continue as coach for the upcoming season in the 14U program.

She has experience playing volleyball at Club, Varsity and as a member of her country’s women’s volleyball team in the Caribbean, competing at many international events. She played Varsity Volleyball on an athletic scholarship for Lock Haven University, USA and transferred in her sophomore year to The City University of NY -Queens College NCAA Division II.

She is a Social Worker with a Masters of Social Work, and she works and supports vulnerable individuals, children and families.

She has a love for the game and look forward to being instrumental in player’s development, exposure and successes both at the team and individual level.

Dervon Lewis


Dervon has been playing competitive indoor volleyball since 1989.  He has played at all levels – high school, club, university and on the Jamaica National team as an outside hitter. He continues to play intermediate rec level volleyball intermittently.

Dervon received his first coaching certification in 1994 through the FIVB SAP Program.  He has coached at the university (men’s and women’s) and senior club level between 1994 and 2014.  A recent immigrant to Canada, Dervon is excited to be back coaching at Smash Raiders where he worked with the 13U teams last season, and is looking forward to another rewarding year at the club.  Dervon became a Certified Development Coach in Canada in 2024.  He also hopes to resume service as a volleyball referee.

With a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Civil Engineering and a master’s degree in engineering management from Florida International University in Miami, Dervon works as a Construction Project Manager.  He lives in Burlington with his wife Annie and their three children.
