 18U CYCLONES COACHES

Kayde Marshall

Head Coach 18U Cyclones

Kayde is a fully Certified Development Coach currently completing her Advanced Development Certifications. With over 20 years of experience in the Ontario Volleyball Association (OVA) as both a player and coach, she brings deep knowledge and passion to the sport.

Kayde began coaching at age 17 and has remained dedicated to developing athletes ever since. Having overcome multiple injuries during her playing career—including two ACL tears—Kayde brings a unique and compassionate perspective to coaching. She understands firsthand the physical and mental challenges athletes face, especially when recovering from injury. This has shaped her strong emphasis on mental health, resilience, and active recovery as key components of athletic development.

Her coaching philosophy centers on improvement over perfection. Kayde believes that growth, consistency, and a positive mindset are the cornerstones of long-term success—both on and off the court.
